Body

Body relates to creating a relationship with your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies to help you tap into your body’s innate ability to heal itself.

We are wired to heal. When you cut your hand, your body works to close the wound. If a foreign object or repeated injury irritates the wound, it festers and causes pain. Once the block is removed, healing resumes. The same can be true for healing psychological wounds. If we can tap into what our body, nervous system, and brain are holding onto and allow it to move through, be released, or become unstuck, our capacity for self-healing and vitality can resume.

“And I said to my body softly, ‘I want to be your friend.’ It took a long breath and replied, ‘I have been waiting my whole life for this.’” – Nayyirah Waheed
